I am thrilled to announce we have exceeded my original $5,000 goal. The shirts will continue to be available for sale with 100% of the profits donated to the PSPCA. By spreading awareness and raising funds, we can make a difference to save helpless dogs who are victims to pit bull fights and cruelty.
There are a million ways to help out and even the smallest gesture can make a difference. Below are my suggested top six things you can do:
- Report any suspected dog fighting. Investigating dog fighting cruelty is a crime and police must investigate these cases.
- Become educated. Visit www.dontbullymybreed.org for the facts.
- If you are thinking of adopting a dog, check out the Ten Tips for Adopting a Pit Bull
- Volunteer at a shelter. Currently, over 80% of the Pennsylvania SPCA’s canine population in Philadelphia is made up of pit bulls and pit bull mixes.
- Drop off toys and bones for shelter dogs to keep them busy and happy. Lead a chew-toy drive at work or in your community to collect rawhides or hard rubber playthings. All dogs need to be kept mentally and physically fit.
- Wear your Tackle Dog Fighting shirt proudly. Awareness and compassion are two critical elements to help provoke change. You are being a voice for the dogs and sending a message that the act of dog fighting is cruel, violent, and illegal.
great idea!!!!wish everyone thought this way! dogs that have experienced hooro in life have to be rehabilitated before they can go back to a normal life why not michael vick!!! he needs some kind of mental help or he’ll be the same person, we all know he didn’t get therapy in prison!!!!

Got my shirt within 2 days of ordering it! Love it and wore it already today. The only thing is, very important to order a size up. I’m normally a medium but I ordered a large and that fits pretty good. Thanks Tammi!
Thanks for the opportunity to show my discuss w/Michael Vick and his ilk. I have stopped supporting the Eagles since they “acquired” him and do truly hope they lose all their games. There is more to sports than winning. Where are the moral and ethical values of Jeffrey Lurie??? I guess $$$$ is the overall concern for him!!!!!

Tammi this is such a wonderful idea. Congratulations on helping to bringing this issue to the forefront and giving Eagles fans an opportunity to show their displeasure with Michael Vick’s involvement in dog fighting.
I am wondering if it is possible to have some larger sizes for both shirts. I know this has become a huge undertaking for you, but I think there are many people who would like a shirt, but wear a larger size. Just a thought. Good luck with your endeavor. You go girl!!!! Phyllis
